#1 Oven pre-heating temperature should be equal to baking temperature

To evenly bake your cakes and desserts you need to pre-heat your oven before the actual baking.It is important to understand that if your recipe demands baking at 180*C , your oven should be pre-heated at 180*C temperature only.Usually, preheating time ranges between 10-12mins but it entirely depends on oven to oven.

#2 Good quality and fresh ingredients only

Trust me the quality of ingredients that you put in your cakes and desserts are game changers, we might deprioritise the research work on good quality ingredients thinking that any ingredient brand would work but that is not true. Always invest in fresh and good quality ingredients and you’ll be in love with your baking creations

#3 Don’t open your oven frequently once the baking process has started

Never open the oven with baking goods inside for the first 20 minutes and avoid opening the door too frequently while the goods are baking.This allows the oven temperature to remain consistent and ensures even baking. It is advisable to do a cake test in the end when only 5 mins are left and quickly put back your cake inside the oven if the cake skewer doesn’t come out clean.

#4 Always use food colors in specific quantity

Gone are the days when food colors where the only way to make your cakes look aesthetically pleasing or appealing .Food colors tend to alter the taste and shelf life of your baked goods if not used in specific quantities. Try to minimise the use of food colors as much as possible after all they are nothing but preservatives.

#5 Avoid over-mixing your cake batter

Over mixing reduces the air bubbles in cake batters, resulting in flat and less dense cakes. Use a spatula to gently mix and fold the ingredients together followed by a bubble whisker.Stop mixin the batter once you see there no flour lumps in the cake batter
